Bonipak was proud to open its doors to community members for the 8th Annual Santa Barbara County Farm Day, a free community event that connects the public with the farms, businesses and people behind Santa Barbara County agriculture.
As one of this year’s main hubs, Bonipak welcomed visitors to its Santa Maria facility for a behind-the-scenes look at its operations. Guests learned more about the work that takes place after produce is harvested and the people and processes that help keep fresh produce moving to customers.
Farm Day provides a unique opportunity for families and community members to experience local agriculture firsthand. Throughout the day, guests enjoyed educational activities, produce tastings, giveaways and opportunities to connect with members of the local agricultural community.
The event was made possible with support from Bonipak employees, local FFA members and Cal Poly students who volunteered their time to welcome guests, lead activities and help create an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
Bonipak is grateful to everyone who joined us and proud to share a glimpse of its operations with the community it calls home. Events like Farm Day reflect Bonipak’s continued commitment to supporting local agriculture, strengthening community connections and recognizing the people who help bring fresh produce to tables every day.
