Our Founders, Milo Ferini & Dominik Ardantz
Our OriginS
Since 1932
The Bonipak story originated in 1932 when Milo Ferini and Dominick Ardantz joined forces to establish a family farming venture on California’s Central Coast. Starting with just a few acres and a flourishing Sugar Beets crop, the operation swiftly expanded into a comprehensive farming operation, providing a diverse range of top-quality vegetables. Located in the Santa Maria Valley, an area characterized by rich soil and a mild year-round climate, the region enabled Milo and Dominick to leverage these favorable conditions to deliver premium produce throughout the year.
Driven by an unwavering commitment to enhance efficiency and deliver outstanding products, Bonipak Produce made moves to oversee the entire process, from start to finish. This led to the cultivation of our “Seed-to-Sale” approach, where all aspects of growing, packing, cooling, processing and shipping operations were internalized, ensuring meticulous control at each stage.
welcoming the
Fourth Generation
The legacy of family ownership continues, now shared among the second, third and fourth generations of the original partners. Each member actively participates in the day-to-day operations, preserving the vision and culture of Bonipak. The dedicated partners, Milo Ferini, Patrick Ferini, Henri Ardantz, third-generation owners Rob Ferini, Mitch Ardantz, Craig Reade, Tom Minetti, Alain Pincot, and fourth-generation owner Anthony Reade, collectively shape the ongoing success of Bonipak.
Expanding beyond the core family, the Bonipak family extends to over 2,000 full-time employees, encompassing all facets of farm operations and management.
