Throughout our 90 years, we have cultivated a “Seed-to-Sale” approach that ensures the quality, sustainability and reliability of our produce. We are proud to be involved in the entire process from planning to planting, harvesting, cooling, processing and shipping. Our commitment to this approach allows us to plan directly with customers to satisfy volume requirements, while providing consistent, high-quality produce all year.

The process begins with our customers’ input, including projected volume needs and product specifications. We then use a refined eight-step process to ensure satisfaction, quality-control and timeliness, through extensive planning and quality assurance.

Seed

Bonipak has developed and maintained strong relationships with the top vegetable seed producers and breeders in the world. Only the highest quality seeds make it through our extensive R&D Process to be placed into production. We select the proper varieties based on soil conditions, climate and time of year.

Harvest

Bonipak’s harvesting crews and quality assurance supervisors continually and carefully monitor our produce to meet our high-quality standards. We pride ourselves in packing to the highest specifications and giving our customers the fresh, quality produce they expect and consumers enjoy. All crews go through continuous, stringent training and testing to ensure worker and food safety.

Process

In addition to providing a variety of whole-head carton products, Bonipak operates a processing facility in Santa Maria. We produce a variety of pre-cut and washed products utilizing the newest equipment and practices in the industry to increase freshness and maximize convenience.

Sale

Bonipak products are sold to retailers, wholesalers and food service customers throughout North America. We are pleased to have worked directly with our customers to plan, grow, harvest, cool, process and deliver the highest quality produce for more than 90 years.
