Santa Maria, California — June 8, 2026

Bonipak Produce and Betteravia Farms are proud to announce the addition of Andrew Reade to the ownership group, making him the second member of the fourth generation to join company ownership following his brother, Anthony Reade.

Andrew began his journey with the organization in 2017 as an intern with Betteravia Farms. Through years of hard work, leadership, and dedication to the company’s values, he continued to grow within the organization, serving as a Harvest Supervisor at Bonipak Produce from 2020 to 2025. In 2025, Andrew was promoted to Director of Brassicas, where he currently oversees three commodity managers and continues to play an important role in the company’s operations and growth.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Craig Reade, and grandfather, Patrick Ferini, Andrew’s addition to the ownership group continues the company’s long-standing tradition of family leadership and active operational involvement.

Andrew’s brother, Anthony Reade, shared the following about him joining the ownership group:

“I am extremely proud of my brother, Andrew, for all that he has accomplished in his young career and couldn’t be more excited to have another 4th generation partner join the group. His authenticity, humility, and passion for what he does has earned him an immense amount of respect throughout the company and beyond. We’re very fortunate to have a ‘Next Gen’ group that cares as deeply as they do about the products we grow, the people that grow them, and the legacy that we will carry on.”

Owner Mitch Ardantz also shared his excitement about Andrew joining the ownership group:

“We are very excited to continue growing our ownership team and to see exceptional fourth-generation leaders stepping into these new roles. I’m excited to see the next chapters ahead for our organization in the years to come.”

CEO Scott Cruciger also shared his enthusiasm about Andrew joining the ownership group:

“I am very excited for Andrew to join the ownership team. His membership brings an expansion of the team in terms of experience and diversity, and continues the path toward the fourth generation of organizational leadership.”

As Bonipak Produce approaches nearly a century of operation, the addition of fourth-generation leadership reflects the company’s continued commitment to preserving its heritage while embracing the future. Andrew’s leadership, operational experience, and dedication to the organization position him well to help guide the next chapter of growth for Betteravia Farms and Bonipak Produce.
