Spicy Parmesan Broccoli 

Serves: 4


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh Bonipak broccoli florets  
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste) 
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika  
  • ½ teaspoon salt 
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper 
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 
  • Juice of ½ lemon  

Directions:

Prepare the skillet. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. 

Cook the broccoli. Add Bonipak broccoli florets, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is bright green and crisp-tender. 

Finish with Parmesan. Sprinkle the hot broccoli with Parmesan and toss until evenly coated. 

Serve. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired, and serve warm. 

Serving Ideas 
Serve alongside roasted chicken or grilled salmon for a balanced meal. 
Add to a grain bowl with quinoa, avocado, and chickpeas for a plant-based lunch. 
Toss with cooked pasta for a quick veggie-loaded dinner.
