Bonipak Hires New Marketing Coordinator and Promotes One of the Company's Own 01.01.13

Bonipak Produce welcomes a new face to the team. Amber Wighton has joined the company as the new Marketing Coordinator. Mrs. Wighton's role will entail helping the family-owned business increase the focus of their marketing efforts.

Additionally, Leeann Bettencourt has been promoted to Account Manager. In her position, Ms. Bettencourt will support some of the company’s major customer accounts.

Don Klusendorf, Director of Sales and Marketing, states, “Amber will be key in meeting our short-term marketing goals and long-term vision and Leeann is extremely knowledgeable and understands all aspects of our business. Their talents are perfectly suited to benefit of our customers and we are happy to have them both in the family."

Bonipak Attends PMA Fresh Summit 11.14.12

Bonipak attended the Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit International Convention and Exposition in Anaheim, CA on October 26th to the 28th. Bonipak introduced its new online education program, The Knowledge Center, and received great reviews from attendees.

"PMA is the perfect time to connect with customers and suppliers as well as attend the educational seminars. The response we received from The Knowledge Center was exceptional and is helping promote produce sales. Everyone on the team did a great job and we will continue the excitement into the new year," said Don Klusendorf, Bonipak's Director of Sales and Marketing.

One of the highlights of PMA for Klusendorf was the Women's Leadership Perspective seminar featuring Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour. Armour was the first African American female pilot in the United States Marine Corps serving two tours in Iraq. She has been featured on Oprah Winfrey and CNN. Vernice delivered an exciting presentation that gave PMA attendees inspirational and motivational wisdom drawn from her battlefield and personal challenges. She inspired audience members with her "Zero to Breakthrough" mindset and left a powerful impression on Klusendorf and the entire audience.

Bonipak Introduces New Online Education Program 10.12.12

The Knowledge Center by Bonipak is now online.

Bonipak is proud to introduce its new online education program, The Knowledge Center. The program will be available to attendees of the PMA Fresh Summit International Convention and Exposition in Anaheim, CA on October 26th to the 28th. The program consists of three to four minute videos on broccoli, romaine, celery, lettuce, and cauliflower with information about varieties, growing practices and nutritional information.

"Our commitment to customers goes beyond quality and supply. The Knowledge Center is ideal for store-level produce managers, wholesalers, and food service operators who want a fast and easy way to enhance produce knowledge," said Don Klusendorf, Bonipak's Director of Sales and Marketing.
