Job Description
Job Title: Caneberry Production Supervisor
Department: Betteravia Farms Production
Location: Santa Maria and Other Growing Locations
Reports To: Director of Farm Operations and Lead PCA
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling and oversight of all Caneberry production related activities
- All crop management labor including, but not limited to:
- Hoop management, weeding, watering roads, spray applications, and all other crop management activities
- Supervise all operations of the Maintenance Foreman
- Execution of bed up activities, as well as activities leading up to bed up for each cycle
- Ensure efficient and effective installation of all ranches, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Irrigation installation, fumigation, hoop installation and trellis installation.
- Supervision of the planting process from start to finish, which includes but is not limited to:
- Includes daily plant orders, ensuring high planting quality, oversee pesticide wash and collecting all nursery code maps
- Ensure new hires have completed all necessary paperwork and compliance training prior to start of work
- Understand and utilize Pet Tiger Capabilities to enhance efficiencies
- Working with the department supervisor to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Manage to and follow all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- All crop management labor including, but not limited to:
- Work with harvest Supervisor on all berry analytics, and plan development
- Establish, track, and meet budget on:
- Planting location timing and varieties
- Labor Tracking (production and harvesting)
- Develop and review efficiency Reports
- Input Costs
- Yield evaluation
- Estimate accuracy
- Evaluation of growing practices

- Employee must have the ability to walk, talk, hear, see, speak, concentrate, reach in all directions, stoop, bend, lift up to 60 lbs.
