delicious, nutritious and usually pretty simple to make. Of course,
they're always best with genuine Bonipak products grown here,
in Santa Maria, California.

Take the chill off with a hot cup!.
- 10 oz fresh Bonipak broccoli, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cans cream of potato soup
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Bring Broccoli to a boil in water. Simmer 5 minutes.
Without draining, stir in soup and milk. Cook over
medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Mix in cheese and stir until melted.

It's quick and savory!
- 1 crown fresh Bonipak broccoli, broken up.
- 9 oz. linguini
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups dry white wine
- 1-1/2 cups milk (use half and half for creamier sauce)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 2-1/2 cups fresh basil
- 1 cup grated romano cheese
Prepare linguini by simmering in boiling water for 1 minute.
Drain and toss with olive oil. In saucepan, heat butter until
melted and stir in flour until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
Stir in wine and milk and continue stirring until thickened.
When sauce is thickened and boiling, add broccoli and
cook 1-1/2 minutes. Now add basil and tomatoes and cook
1-1/2 minutes more. Add linguini and cheese, and season
to taste. Serve immediately. Garnish with black pepper
and additional cheese if desired.

Quick Stir Fry Recipe
- 3 pounds fresh Bonipak broccoli
- 1 pound lean boneless beef steak
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- cooking sauce (below)
Cut broccoli tops into small florets, slice stalks 1/4 inch thick and
set aside. Cut beef with the grain into 1-1/2 inch-wide strips, then
cut each strip into 1/4 inch lengths. In small bowl, mix soy sauce,
garlic and beef and let marinate for 15 minutes.
Place wok or large skillet over high heat; when hot, add two
tablespoons of the oil. When oil is hot, add meat mixture and
stir-fry until meat is browned. Set aside.
Pour remaining oil into wok and stir fry broccoli for one minute.
Add water and cover, cook broccoli until it is al dente, (about three
more minutes) stirring often. Add cooking sauce and meat and stir
until sauce thickens.
Cooking sauce:
Mix together 1-1/2 tablespoons corn-starch, a dash of cayenne
pepper, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 2 tablespoons dry sherry and
1-1/4 cups beef broth.

Kids LOVE this dish!!
- 1-2 bunches of Bonipak broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/2 large red onion
- 1 8oz pack sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 pound of bacon (crispy bacon bites)
- 1/2 cup salted roasted sunflower seeds
- Dressing 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
Mix mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar in a small bowl. Combine
onion, mushrooms, bacon, broccoli and seeds in a separate bowl.
Add dressing to salad 1/2 hour before serving. Adjust amount of
dressing on salad according to your tastes.
